Welcome!
I am Alyssa Colvin. A designer and creative who has a passion for UX and UI design.
Nature walk.
I chose to do a theme based on nature and native animals creatively called “nature walk”. Where users aged between 30 to 50 years old would be able to post photos of the landscape and animals and create a community of people who want to learn more about the environment and land around them.
2024 - Social media application.
flinders through time.
The idea was a geolocated history tour of the public transportation network around the CBD, focusing on the train stations, trams, and city loop. At each station you will learn more about the history of Melbourne's public transportation, play games and activities and earn a prize at the end when you complete all 10 locations. The app's name was “Flinders through time.”
2025 - geolocated narrative.
KALO.
KALO, or kitchen assistant living organiser, manages the inventory of a person's kitchen, including the fridge, freezer and pantry. It keeps track of expiration dates, makes shopping lists based on what users want to cook. And shows new recipes for meals currently in inventory. It works with a system of cameras located in a person's kitchen that keeps track of what they have and when it expires. It takes a lot of mental effort off older people who often struggle with keeping food in their pantry or knowing what they need to buy.
2025 - UX capstone project.
